Do You See The Beauty And Wonder In Your Everyday Life?

Do you find yourself rushing through the day without time to look around or reflect on anything apart from your day-to-day routine? You race to that next meeting, then off to pick up the kids from school, then home, just to hurry on to gym class, popping by the grocery store on your way back...

No wonder you don’t get to look around much when your mind is constantly focused on the next urgent thing that calls for your attention.

And honestly, why would you? You’ve already seen it a million times and there’s obviously nothing, nothing much to look at anyway. Right?

Still, every day the sun will rise and the sun will set, and ALL of the world’s beauty will happen in between. Right here, in the midst of our everyday lives. Whether we choose to see it or not. This idea is at the core of my heart and it’s what I want to make this blog about.

So, who am I to start a blog on this topic? What makes me an expert in this field? Well no, my friend, I’m not an expert. I’m just a humble human on a journey, in this sense maybe ever so little ahead of you.

I’ve made the journey from being someone who only lived for summers and barely made it through the rest of the year ... to an artist with a calling to raise my people’s awareness of the beauty which is in our everyday places, in every season in every day.

I used to suck at appreciating my everyday places. I mean really suck. Of all my friends, I was the one who sucked at it the most. I would have been the first to jump on an airplane and just leave it all behind.

Actually, I used to daydream about escaping from Finland. I wanted sun, a lovely little beach and paintworthy surroundings. But most of all I wanted to experience the feeling of being alive.

Only, the thing I was escaping from would have followed me to the end of the world; the feeling of emptiness and isolation and a strange notion that I was missing out on all the good bits of life.

Then some big and difficult things happened in my personal life. Life, in its sometimes cruel and unpredictable way, forced me to choose between the light and the dark. I chose the light and ended up with a deep appreciation for life.

To me it was completely life-changing and I hope you will benefit from the lessons of my journey without having to experience the same kind of darkness. (Read more of what happened in my newsletter. Feel free to sign up below!)

This blog is for all of you sensitive souls out there, who seem to have it all figured out, but are still secretly hoping for a magical escape that will take you to a life filled with beauty and joy.

It’s for all of you discouraged and lonely hearts who are surrounded by people that you love and still lack a sense of belonging.

It’s for all of you infinitely humane humans who want nothing more than to experience the the feeling of being alive.

How is this blog going to help me?

If you believe you have all the time in the world, I will be here to gently tell you that you don’t and that every moment matters.

If you think you’ve seen your everyday places a million times, I will be blogging about why they are still SO worth looking at.

And if you are convinced that beauty is not present in your life, this blog will show you different kinds of beauty and teach you new ways to look at the world.

I’m here to remind you (and myself) how exhilarating it is to be alive in this world. To share the kind of beauty that will make you soar above your day-to-day challenges for a moment. You don’t want to miss it, so make sure to subscribe right now.

Your life is already filled with magic. If you can’t seem to see it, we need to become friends. Subscribe to my email newsletter below, I would love for you to be a part of the community!
