About Heidi
Heidi Hjort is a self-taught artist based on the west coast of Finland, creating paintings for soulful collectors across Europe. Her paintings communicate a sincere appreciation for life. Her ability to see beauty in the ordinary is a key asset in her creative process.
In her early 20s, an architect student exchange program took her all the way to Tokyo, Japan, where she first encountered the concept of wabi-sabi. This spirit continues to inspire her work.
She has had a number of solo exhibitions across the country and her work is in private collections in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and in the US.
